Children are such simple souls. Kai only wanted rainbow sprinklers with his vanilla ice cream. How about mixing in another sweet, asked his indulging parents. Gummy bears? No. Koko crunch? No. Peanuts? No. Maltesers? No, no, no. He got so exasperated with us.
So different from adults who have a hard time deciding on our ice cream flavors and then picking two, three or even more sweets to mix into our ice cream.
Children have plain vanilla flavored souls. They are timeless and always lovable.
