Btw, where did you get your doc martens? I was out looking for them... but most places (if they carry any) only carry those "boring" ones. I saw a silver pair that I like! Cos the leather is much softer than the typical doc martens boots.

I got my inspiration from her. It probably works better in a country where it's less humid, but I suppose we can always adapt from the look.
I got mine direct from DM in Singapore because I wear UK3, the smallest of all sizes, which they don't usually carry. So they went out of the way to help me get the pair. :) Front Row at Ann Siang should carry the floral ones that you are looking for, as well as the patent ones in different yummy colours.
I haven't felt the leather of the silver pair. (Wow. I'll do some research on how you can wear those!) But actually I'm pretty surprised; I don't have any trouble with my boots at all. I've worn them all laced up, partly laced (but always with socks) and they're pretty comfy.
An outfit that I pulled together after spending just half an hour at Square 2.
